Moore Stephens Wurth Frazer and Torbet, LLP (MSWFT) is currently seeking a highly motivated, self starting Tax Senior who is ready to take the next step to Manager or an already experienced Tax Manager to join the income tax compliance group in the Orange, CA office. The ideal candidate would have recent public accounting experience as a tax professional. They would be responsible for handling federal tax issues and to bring the experience and commitment necessary to deliver tax compliance and advisory services to help meet our clients' specific needs.
Job Duties & Responsibilities: - Provide compliance advisory services: tax advisory, tax compliance services, regulatory representation and tax provision preparation and review - Accounting methods and credit services: tax accounting services, research and experimentation tax credit review and fixed asset review. - Tax planning or organizations: tax management, transactions and reorganizations, advocacy, and compliance - Keep up to date on current tax practices and changes in tax laws and regulations - Advise clients regarding corporate, partnership, multi-state and consolidation tax issues - Develop and train staff level team members

Qualifications
• Accounting or Finance degree required • Master in Business Tax a plus • 5-7 years of current public accounting experience in Tax (5+ for Manager position) • Ability to provide tax planning with outstanding client interaction skills • 5+ years in project managing and team leadership skills • Knowledge of IRS codes, corporate and partnership tax matters • Strong research and organizational skills • Strong skills in reviewing 1120 tax returns
